Program Overview

    Summer Wonders is a nonresidential, full or half-day program that allows students to explore diverse subjects in a challenging, creative environment through an integrative, hands-on, non-traditional approach.    We match exciting teachers with a classroom of like-leveled learners.  Our enrollment in years past has included international students, children from other states, and a number of children from Texas cities outside Austin, as well as from every school district in and around Austin. 

    Summer Wonders will be held during two different two-week sessions.  Each session runs for two weeks, Monday through Friday.

Session I:  June 21 – July 2  (Note: this session is now full.)

Session II: July 12 – July 23

    Students have the option to enroll as Little Wonders, Morning students, or Full Day students.  Extended Care is available from 3-5:30pm.

   

All Summer Wonders students participate in fast-paced, interactive classes with hands on activities and explorational learning.  Course topics are academic in nature, presented in a fun, creative manner that inspires critical thinking and enables students to solve problems and affect discovery.  Content areas include but are not limited to science, math, art, drama, social studies, literature and economics.
